Prologue | ROOT OF ROSE
Root of Rose is deeply personal to me. Rose is my daughter, and I am her root — her mother, her beginning, the place from which she grew.
But somewhere along the way, while building a career and raising her, I realized I had become disconnected from some of my own roots — creativity, imagination, joy, and the parts of myself that once came naturally.
Root of Rose is about finding my way back to those parts of myself while continuing to grow alongside my daughter.
It’s about motherhood, creativity, becoming, and what can grow when we make space for who we truly are.
She grew from me. Now I’m learning to grow alongside her.
